look for less: designlovefest
Bri Emery is the creator of the blog DESIGN LOVE FEST and co-founder of a photoshop workshop for bloggers, Blogshop. The multi-talented graphic-design enthusiast lives in sunny Los Angeles in one of my favorite interiors! I'm always catching myself pinning spaces or nooks, and later finding out that they belong to her.
Her love of mid-century style pieces and eye for color make for spaces that I could only dream of. She shares a lot of her sources through her interior blog posts and her Instagram, but some vintage pieces will forever be one-offs. I did my best to bring you her living room for less!
I laid out the basics for you above! Bri's colorful room is tied together through artwork, accessories, and greenery. We love the idea of putting some creative DIY projects in your space. Things such as custom lampshades, a large abstract painting, a gold-dipped console, and a colorful knit throw would all add a "DLF" touch to the space.

Mixing vintage, new, and DIY is essential to get the same look as Bri Emery did in her space. These DIY candle holders by A Beautiful Mess could be a great pop of color in your space. To tie in the pink from your candle holders, I love the idea of keeping a cute set of floral coasters on the end table! These are available via Etsy. This lamp is available through Target the gold base would tie together the end table from above. The lampshade could stay neutral, or you could get really creative there too!
Bri just re-did her bedroom - maybe I'll help with that room too? Her space looks so welcoming and lively....but I'm likely just craving another trip out to L.A. Time for some sunshine and shopping!
