Maybe I'm wrong, but with the change in weather comes a change of heart. I should probably preface this post by saying that fall is by far my favorite season! The crisp air, the crunchy leaves, the light snow... It feels so homey. All I want to do is snuggle up with Brandon and Oliver and watch bad movies and bake. Swoon!
Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to relax and focus on snuggles this year. I'm in the middle of matrimony madness (finalizing guest list, sending save the dates, putting together our registry, setting up a schedule) and the start of holiday horror. There are things, people and expenses popping up everywhere! I'm a huge believer in setting and sticking to a strong budget, but is that even possible when you're planning a once in a lifetime event for hundreds of guests? (Although that's rhetorical, the answer is no. You will in fact break the bank. Shatter the bank. Even destroy the bank.)
When I need to escape my financial headache, I try to think about the fun aspects of the wedding! I'm in love with our color story (!!!!) and I can't wait to incorporate it with a lot of DIY decor. I'm also getting excited for Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving because there's no better therapy than dishing to your friends and eating a ton of food.
I won't let this stress ruin my fall. Let's go jump in some leaves, shall we?
