Brandon and I are all moved in. We're far from settled, but we have all of our furniture (with the exception of our sofa) in the new space. It's so exciting! The building is beautiful - just moments from the heart of the city, and it has the best amenities! I don't know how we scored this place, but it's incredible what you can get for your money in Providence as opposed to Boston. I've been dying to share photos, but I'm almost embarrassed to show how much unpacking we have to do. With the holiday weekend over, we'll be squeezing unpacking in after work. Any suggestions on how to settle in to a new place efficiently?
These are from day 1 during prime move-in/mess time. Although I could lie and tell you it looks much better now, well.... It doesn't.
Our bedroom is one of my favorite spaces. My dad + I (ok, maybe just my dad) built this awesome pallet bedframe for Brandon + I. It rests on 5 inch casters, and unknowingly hits right below the windowsill. Our nightstands are from Urban Outfitters. We wanted something really industrial since we have exposed pipes and vents in our loft ceilings. Our blankets are from Twelve Chairs. Any other questions? Be sure to let me know!
We may have started decorating before we had even finished unpacking.
Brandon + I also found some grills outside! We're also ecstatic about the giant lap pool, hot tub, full gym, and movie theatre in the building too!
Oliver also settled in quicker than anticipated. He already claimed the tub as his and started his 3AM meowing.
Ill share more updates as we settle in! Sorry for the short hiatus, it's been a crazy month.
