The first part of having an enjoyable night in is making sure you're perfectly comfortable. I find it so hard to buy clothes just to "lay around in". This Pippa Pullover from Anthropologie is just under $40, and could be worn for lounge, or with jeans and riding boots for a perfect day look. It's the perfect balance between casual/cute/comfortable and I'm in love with the neutral tone. That's just part 1 of "the perfect night in".

The second part of this night involves food. Any food. Mmmmmm. I loved this great serving dish focused on small gatherings and a happy hello - I feel like it's inviting and cozy, and it seems like the perfect size for your movie-munchies. This Shanna Murray Platter from West Elm is $39, and it could be used over and over and over again.
The third aspect of your night is choosing your favorite, light-hearted movie and enjoying every last moment of it. Most of you probably already own your favorite movies....but when was the last time you watched it? (Also, yes....one of my favorite movies is in fact Monsters Inc.) You can buy Monsters Inc. (and many, many, many other movies for all of you Monsters Inc. haters) at Target for around $20. From then on, you will be able to watch Sully, Mike, and Boo have everlasting fun. Teehee!
While perusing the West Elm website for a desk for my apartment, I came across these fantastic ombre throws ranging from $19-$39. My favorite is the gray one, but they would all be amazing to cuddle up with while enjoying the movie! The wide range of colors makes it easy to choose one that will match your favorite room in the house.
Lastly, you can top off the night with a nice hot chocolate, latte, or tea in this adorable-match all home decor- latte mug from Crate and Barrel for only $6.95. I'm obsessed with it's simplicity and cabin feel.
