If you're anything like me, you probably leave some of your gift buying until very last minute. I'm kind of the Queen of procrastination. It doesn't mean I don't care....it just means I'm lazy! I perused one of my favorite blogs, A Beautiful Mess, for some great last minute gift ideas. They had some awesome gifts that I was so excited to find! I adapted their sharpie mugs to create a personalized gift for my sparkle-loving friend!
This gift takes about 30 minutes to make, and leaves you with a thoughtful, inexpensive idea for all your loved ones!

Supplies you will need:
o bic or sharpie permanent marker
in metallic gold or silver
o porcelain mug
o pencil + eraser
o hot chocolate powder
o gift bag
o any additional wrapping supplies of choice
Step 1: Sketch whatever your friend may like on the mug. For my friend Marah, I went with a simple monogram....mostly because I'm awful at drawing.
You can be as creative as you would like in this part! Doodles, love notes....anything!
Step 2: Trace over your illustration in your permanent marker. Add any other details you may want.
I added gold in the handle for an extra pop of color!
Step 3: Bake the newly designed mug in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let it cool
completely before washing or using!
Step 4: Doll up your cocoa and marshmallows! I used a (clean) muslin bag that I stamped with a
"To + From" stamp for the marshmallows. Then, I took a single pack of Starbucks Hot Chocolate and
rolled it into that adorable polka-dot envelope! A little tissue paper and a pop of color in a card,
and your last-minute gift is complete!
DISCLAIMER: These mugs must be hand-washed! Dishwashing can
often wash away the design. Hope this helps right before the big holiday rush!
