Ever really wondered who and what is behind the delicious craft beer you've been drinking? Well that's exactly what my handsome boyfriend Shane, and my good friend Jeremy set forth to find out with their new webseries American Brewed. American Brewed takes you into local breweries to showcase not only great beer, but to also give you an inside look behind the craft brewing community as they tell the stories and passion behind each beer.
I've been lucky enough to really have a front row seat watching this amazing project from the beginning! And all bias opinions aside, this is an amazing idea!

As you may or may not know, I used to work for Anthropologie! Before being employed for Urban Outfitters Inc., I interned for Anthropologie's visual team... Twice! One of my bosses there was the quirky and talented Erin. I tried to show up early, stay late, and work as hard and fun as possible to make an impression. As I was leaving as an intern, I was hired as a sales associate and left the company a while after to manage a clothing consignment shop. I wasn't sure I had made an impression on the company, but it definitely made an impression on me. It's where I decided that visual merchandising, be it installation art or floor plans, is what I want to do.
The boyfriend got a new temporary studio in our apartment since our roommate left and he graduated college. Congrats, Brandon! I'll be sure to share his new work as it develops. Ooh- he also just had a solo show tonight at Voltage Coffee and Art. Can't wait to share photos!
Today I visited my boyfriends studio while he prepped his work for his senior show. It's so exciting to see this work grow! I hope to visit more of my friends workspaces and share them later on, but Brandon gets first dibs.
MRBA is a painter who lives in Boston, MA with his beauuuutiful girlfriend (ME), adorable cat, and two roommates. He creates vibrant large-scale works that illustrate a loosely followed story about this strange world he imagined. In this world, rules don't exist, and either do fashion trends. While the characters may dress like my style icon and famous blogger, Man Repeller, some casually dressed humans are allowed to travel to this colorful land as well.
Come see his work at his two upcoming shows -
April 25 - Gallery at University Hall
May 31 - Voltage Coffee and Art
