Sometimes black and white home decor make the boldest statement. I love this space by Popsugar where the article actually teaches you how to DIY those pillows. Such a cute idea! Click thru to find my sources to get this look for less!
My pop of color in this room involved changing up the ottoman! This raspberry color goes so well with the royal blue sofa. I swoon! To tie in the ottoman, I thought mixing it in subtly through accessories (such as those dip dyed candles) was just enough to make it work! In this situation, I changed up the look of the chairs to fit the scale of the sofa better. The leggy end table pulls the mid century vibe together and helps keep the room light and airy. A Beautiful Mess shared a great DIY on how to make your own art to replicate the works above the sofa. Check it out here! I'll move right in, thank you very much!

If I had to choose a new sofa, it would look exactly like this one. Blue velour. I've been toying with the idea of reupholstering our sofa for the past few months, but the cost is just too much to take on before the wedding.
Through searching for fabrics and inspiration photos, Brandon and I found that purchasing a newly upholstered sofa wouldn't break the bank! We just need enough space for an additional sofa....
When I came across this photo, I fell in love! Though I love the simplicity of black, white, and blue, I loved the idea of adding a bit more color to the room. Below I've shared how to get this look (with a little twist) for less!
I'm obsessed with this space! The white walls and ceiling makes the area feel so open and relaxing! Since not all homes and apartments are equipped with such a nook, I've recreated this look and feel for an entryway, or any bare wall for that matter! Something about mixing jute and sheepskin really warms my soul.
Below, I've shown you how to get this look for a budget (pup not included). Click thru for more!
Bri Emery is the creator of the blog DESIGN LOVE FEST and co-founder of a photoshop workshop for bloggers, Blogshop. The multi-talented graphic-design enthusiast lives in sunny Los Angeles in one of my favorite interiors! I'm always catching myself pinning spaces or nooks, and later finding out that they belong to her.
Her love of mid-century style pieces and eye for color make for spaces that I could only dream of. She shares a lot of her sources through her interior blog posts and her Instagram, but some vintage pieces will forever be one-offs. We did our best to bring you her living room for (this may be a stretch) less!

You know when you come across the most perfect room on Pinterest, your favorite blog, or a magazine and you're like, "WHY AM I NOT A MILLIONAIRE? I WANT THAT"? Well, hopefully "Look for Less" can help. I'm kind of addicted to looking at spaces and figuring out where I could source affordable similar pieces, and I can't wait to share some of my favorites with you.
I stumbled upon this awesome minimalist bedroom on Pinterest and I was able to source it back to International Architecture and Design (a fantastic source). I love the simplicity, the natural light, and the layout. Placing your bed in the center of the room allows it be the focus of the bedroom. This headboard is extra special because it has a fantastic ledge to allot for a desk. The light colors, mix of textures, and clean lines of this room really drew me in.
