Our Halloween party was tough to plan this year. Brandon and I struggled coming up with a cohesive theme and costumes that worked for us (I hate wigs. He hates shaving. I had to wear a wig, so he won this one). After much deliberation, we decided on a Bob's Burgers theme. If you're not familiar with the show, it's a cartoon about a middle-class family who owns a burger shop. The show has of great voice-actors, perfect comedic timing, and a punny yet subtle "burger of the day" every episode. Brandon and I went as Bob and Linda Belcher (the dynamic mom and dad duo).
It was a halloween party, so I went full out sweet mode for the snacks. The menu consisted of:

For decor, Brandon and I painted pumpkins to look like burgers and veggies. Fitting for the occasion! Our friends all showed up in costume and got a ton of use out of the simple photo-booth I set up. I used this tutorial for the "BOO" sign (which I shared here too!) and this tutorial loosely for the emoji-ghost balloon.
Next year I want to focus a bit more on things to do at the party - this year there was a lot of catching up, eating, drinking, and sitting. How fun would it be to get like a mini pool table or a fun party game or something? For the next party, I swear! Don't have a crap attack! ;)
In reality I was super excited about the Bob's Burger party because I got to say things like, "Mommy doesn't get drunk, she just has fun" and "He's so handsome you wanna punch him" and that totally makes for a good party. ALRIIIIIIIIIIGHTTTT!
