I cannot believe an entire year has gone by since Brandon and I got married. We tried to celebrate our first anniversary last night, but as luck would have it the place we wanted to eat and get drinks was closed for a private event. Oh well!
I wanted to share some lessons I've learned during our first year of marriage that may or may not hold true to you, but first let's start with a little background on Brandon and I! We have been dating since 2007 and living together since 2010, so we have a lot of history as roommates and being together. We've moved between Boston, Providence, and even had a short stint at my parent's house to save up for the wedding. Almost 9 years of my life have been spent shared with Brandon, and we have a good thing going. I've shared some lessons learned from the newlyweds below....
Lessons from First Year of Marriage
There are plenty of other words of wisdom I could share, but Brandon and I are still newly married and we don't know it all. We're still learning from one another and there are definitely times that we both want to pull our hair out, but it's totally worth every second.Once you find love, the rest will work itself out.
Happy (day late) anniversary, Brandon! Cheers to many many many more.
A few weeks back I celebrated my soon-to-be baby cousin at a beautiful Peter Rabbit themed shower. My cousin Karl and I collaborated on making a storybook themed shower that felt whimsical, woodsy, and wonderful for Mama Nicole. I was so excited to surprise my glowing cousin with a special day at the Tipsy Toboggan in Fall River!
