Ever really wondered who and what is behind the delicious craft beer you've been drinking? Well that's exactly what my handsome boyfriend Shane, and my good friend Jeremy set forth to find out with their new webseries American Brewed. American Brewed takes you into local breweries to showcase not only great beer, but to also give you an inside look behind the craft brewing community as they tell the stories and passion behind each beer.
I've been lucky enough to really have a front row seat watching this amazing project from the beginning! And all bias opinions aside, this is an amazing idea!

My TOMS shoes are easily my most comfortable shoes! They've hiked thru Hollywood Hills, Swansea paths, and more recently, Brandon and my new favorite trail! (The hole in the big-toe is just for good measure.)
Happy Friday, y'all!
Brandon and I have discovered our love for hiking this past Monday. We found a local trail and made plans to complete it first thing in the morning! We arrived to the trail at 10:30AM and quickly found that we were the only two there. Although we didn't complete it on our first try, we discovered so many beautiful spots along the way! (We've even decided to use one of the trails for our Fall engagement photos!)
New England is kind of a funny place. The trail goes thru woods, fields, ponds, farms, and power-lines....none of which surprised us! We've decided to make it a weekly thing, and we're going to try our best to get a little further each time.

I'm obsessed with this space! The white walls and ceiling makes the area feel so open and relaxing! Since not all homes and apartments are equipped with such a nook, I've recreated this look and feel for an entryway, or any bare wall for that matter! Something about mixing jute and sheepskin really warms my soul.
Below, I've shown you how to get this look for a budget (pup not included). Click thru for more!
This has been a hectic week for me...not unlike many others. A collection of events, projects, crafts, work, holidays, cats, relationships, and alcohol made for good photos, good conversations, and a great time though! I even squeezed in time to create this cute "hello" embroidery.

Happy Friday from Budgeted Bliss!! If you're anything like Courtney and I you are ready for a rainy weekend like this weekend here in New England to catch up on some quality netflix, time with our loved ones, and some blogging!!
These wall tapestries by Maryanne Moodie are swoon-worthy. Her colorful creations and her neutral, textured pieces are all unique and inspiring! I came across this artist on Instagram and have since been dreaming of the day when I commission her for a piece for my wall! Although I'm not sure I will ever acquire the talent needed for these pieces, I've decided to try small-scale weavings for fun as well! I purchased this kit, and if all goes well, I'll definitely be looking to invest in better pieces and materials.

Happy Spring! Here in New England, I'm using the term "Spring" loosely. We had a few warm and sunny days in passing, and for that... I am thankful.
I struggle with Spring/Summer style. I'm not good at showing a lot of skin. (I blame it on my chubby arms and pasty complexion! ) I really like light shift-stlye dresses! Typically I layer that with a denim jacket or light cardigan. Add a chunky necklace, cute shoes, and call it a day!

Hope you all are appreciating the Mothers in your lives today on this gorgeous Sunday! I sure know I am, my mother Teri is by far the greatest human being, and the most amazing mother I know. I don't think I would be half the person today without her!
This is one of my favorite pictures of my Mom and I taken last fall at a Breast Cancer Dog Walk fundraiser with our previously pictured in dogday dogs Little Miss Charlotte and Jada
Take the time today to do something special for your mother figure today!
And as always, have an awesome dogday sunday!
A quick "Hello" from Oliver, my new Kinfolk Table cookbook, and myself! Can't wait to share some recipes from this book with all y'all! Oliver looks pretty excited about some home-cooked meals himself.
