AHHHHH! You may be able to visualize me actually screaming about the fact that my wedding is just 80 days away! That's less than three months. Only 11 weeks. It legitimately snuck up on me. Seeing that number in front of me just made me so nervous about all that's left to do, but even more excited about spending my life with my fiancè. (Oh - and I'm thrilled to get my hands on the vintage wedding ring Brandon and I chose for me.) Eek!
One aspect of the wedding I've been dying to share is our invite suite through Appetite Paper. I can't say enough good things about the creator, Rachael! She's a joy to work with, a creative soul, and was even sweet enough to feature our unconventional save the date on her blog! Her eye for design is spot on, and she truly captured our vision. I was lucky enough to win $250 off her designs thru an Instagram giveaway with Dear Sweetheart Events, and I'm so happy I did - and not just for the savings! It was a great opportunity to begin working with Rachael and the stationary list just grew from the invites on. Appetite Paper created our Save the Dates, Wedding Invites, RSVP Cards, Printed Envelopes, and Bridal Shower Invites.
Recently, Rachael has branched out into creating lovely paper flowers that I can't wait to get my hands on. I can't wait to work on another project with her, and I know this was a great start to a long-ended creative relationship. (I'm thinking small business branding!) So thrilled to share this fantastic little business with you. Hope you'll keep them in mind for your next event! xo Courtney
Wedding registries are tricky! You're supposed to put together a list of gifts for both you and your soon-to-be hubby that is realistic, mixes price points, and fits your aesthetic. Brandon and I struggled pretty hard with coming up with ours, but in the end we were able to come up with a good collection. Our registry has items as low as $5 and items as high as $400. We used it as a collection of gifts guests can pool together to purchase or buy without breaking the bank. In addition, we'll be using it as a wish-list after the wedding to purchase some of our own favorites that weren't purchased. I wanted to share 5 registry gifts under $50 that I included in my registry, but could definitely work for yours!
1. Something fun! Target, Hippo Cookie Jar, $20
2. Something functional! Amazon, White Tea Kettle, $30
3. Something Small! Crate & Barrel, Bamboo Chopsticks, $6
4. Something for the Wedding Day! BHLDN, Vow Journals, $28
5. Something you want! Target, Starburst Mirror, $40
Of course, you should personalize your list to cater to your wants, needs, and style! Maybe a hippo cookie jar isn't exactly "you", but a fun kitchen timer may be! Or a cute accessory for your living room. Or a fun calendar. Use your imagination! In addition to all the essentials, keep these tips in mind when creating your wedding registry and you'll be in good shape for your shower! xo Courtney
Sometimes at work I'm lucky enough to dive into the world of styling! For the past few weeks, our photo intern (and my old roommate + good friend) Amber Hakim and I have been collaborating for the Twelve Chairs blog. We've worked to photograph pillows, chairs, desks, and decor! She's been interning with us since last year and has really help us build up our Chairish site by beautifully capturing our products. I couldn't help but share a few sneak peeks! To see more, look here and here. Hope to share more soon!

Hi friends! Wedding planning has once again taken over my life, so my apologies for the lack of posts! But today I wanted to share a few random facts - and one lie - about me. Can you guess which one is the lie?
